Veterinary Technician

Meghan is a dedicated Veterinary Technician with a well-rounded background in animal care and husbandry. She holds an advanced diploma in Veterinary Technology and Wildlife Rehabilitation from Northern College’s School of Veterinary Sciences, graduating with honours and distinctions. During her time there, she developed a deep respect and passion for the veterinary field, which continues to drive her commitment to providing the best care possible for every patient. She has successfully completed the VTNE and is in the process of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician.

With a lifelong love of animals—all shapes and sizes—Meghan approaches her role with curiosity, empathy, and a constant drive to grow her knowledge. She is a Level 1 Fear Free Certified Professional and applies these principles daily to create calm, positive experiences for patients. Whether it’s a gentle touch, a reassuring presence, or a few well-earned snuggles, Meghan strives to ensure that every visit is as stress-free as possible.

Outside the clinic, Meghan enjoys long hikes with her Husky-Shepherd, Finnley, diving into a good murder mystery, or expressing her creativity through oil painting. She values good company, shared laughter, and the occasional snort-laugh that may just brighten someone’s day.
